Equestrian Instruction

Nora Harris will direct all Equestrian Center training and lessons. Nora is currently the Head Coach of the Roger Williams University Equestrian Team, having just completed her third season. She received her Bachelors’ Degree in Equine Studies from Virginia Intermont College. She earned her Masters’ Degree in Equine Science from the University of Edinburgh and a Level II Certification in Hunt Seat Dressage from the American Riding Instructor Association.

THE AQUIDNECK CLUB HORSEMANSHIP SCHOOL 

Three one – week sessions with Nora Harris, Director of Equestrian Sports and her team of instructors.

Week One* July 15 – July 19 8:30AM – 12:30PM
Week Two* July 29 – August 2 8:30AM – 12:30PM
Week Three* August 12 – August 16 8:30AM – 12:30PM

*A minimum number of participants are required. The Aquidneck Club Horsemanship School is available for children seven years or older who have a strong desire to learn, understand and enjoy horsemanship. Students will be taught proper horse-care responsibilities and discover diverse riding styles.

EQUESTRIAN CAMP INFORMATION AND GUIDELINES

There is a strict (72) hour cancellation policy. Members and guests will be charged for any missed lesson(s) unless the reserved slot can be filled. Promptness for lessons is mandatory. Lesson times will not be extended.
