Server

Ideal server candidates will be energetic, highly motivated, and have a passion for hospitality where pleasing our members comes naturally. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent multitasking skills, and be willing to work as part of a team. A minimum of 2 years of previous casual fine dining server experience is preferred. Candidates must be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends, and some holidays. We require our server staff to hold an alcohol safety certification in RI.

Locker Room Attendant (male and female)

Employee responsible for maintaining men's locker room at the exquisite Aquidneck Country Club. The locker room attendant is responsible for daily continuous cleaning and maintenance of the lockers, bathrooms, dressing areas, lounge area, and members shoes. Must be able to lift over 50 pounds and handle machinery. This position is a tipped position as well based off members experience and hospitality provided.

Line Cook

Our busy and ever growing private country club is looking for a professional line cook to add to our team. A successful candidate would be responsible for preparing ingredients to be used in our a la carte dining restaurant, cooking meals on a variety of stations, and working cleanly while maintaining a sanitary work area. We are seeking someone who has experience working in a busy food service environment and is committed to carrying on the standard that we set to satisfy our members and their guests.

Duties
Become cross-trained on various stations on the cooking line, including fry station, grill station, expeditor, and Garde Manger.
Memorize and complete all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen.
Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards
Assist sous chef, banquet chef, and executive chef with any other assigned tasks
Skills
3+ years professional cooking experience
High school diploma/GED
Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more a day
Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis

Job Duties:

  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
  • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
  • Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Pay Frequency:

  • Weekly

  • 9PM

Busser/Food Runner

  • Monitors dining room tables to ensure they meet or exceed standards (i.e. proper table symmetry, non-streaked glassware, etc.)
  • Prepares tables for each party of members by removing dirty dishes and linens, sweeping the floor and wiping seats around the table, and resetting the table
  • Assist servers in pre-bussing tables, as needed
  • Assists other employees and members as needed to ensure teamwork.
  • Transports clean dishware from the dish area to ensure adequate supplies remain on hand during shift.
  • Fills ice bins with ice and empties trash as needed.
  • Preferably 1 year in a casual fine dining establishment however, we are willing to train the right candidate regardless of experience.
